Principal
Kane Black is the founder of Severn Capital and a Singapore-based investor and public markets executive.
He has spent almost two decades in Asia, with experience spanning medical technology, healthcare and public market transactions across Southeast Asia, Japan, Hong Kong and the UK.
He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Ikigai Ventures Limited (LON: IKIV), a London Stock Exchange listed acquisition company, and previously led INEX Innovate, a Singapore-based medical technology business, as Chief Executive Officer following its US$72 million merger in 2019. He remains on the Board and continues to hold interests in Asia-based medical technology businesses.
He was awarded EY Entrepreneur of the Year Singapore in the Biotechnology category in 2022 and is a member of the NUS Medicine International Council.
